Discretix offers content service providers (CSP) both embedded and downloadable content protection applications, for both devices in production and devices already in the field. The Discretix Downloadable Secure Player allows CSPs to overcome the dependency on pre-installed device applications. In so doing they are able to target the large base mobile and portable device already in the market, accelerating the deployment of new services. The player supports Microsoft PlayReady and is in full compliance with content owner’s requirements. The Discretix Downloadable Secure Player is available for various open operating systems including iPhone OS, Android, Windows Mobile / Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS, Linux and Symbian. For devices such as IPTVs and hybrid Set-Top Boxes, Discretix offers a suite of content protection schemes which are pre-integrated, pre-tested and fully approved by major studios, allowing over-the-top distribution of SD and HD content to the end-user.
